As several managers at Newcastle under the current owner have made clear, they had limited input regarding transfers.

I know what your saying about Bruce but against us he used piss poor tatics and didnt change things at any point in the game, I know he made subs but they just replaced positions.

If he was half decent he would have done something about the fact they were getting crucified in midfield, reverted to 4-4-2 and gone for it. Would have given Zaha more space but they were chasing the game at that stage.

Prior to the Arsenal 4-0 defeat, Newcastle in their previous 2 away games had drawn at Wolves and Everton and between these games beat Chelsea 1-0 at home so they notched up some decent results before playing Arsenal. Edited by Willo (25 Feb 2020 6.40pm)
