Neither am I. Sky must be a bit anxious that the longer this goes on the more people decide not to renew their subscriptions. It’s not likely but it’s possible.

I miss football greatly both at a national and local level.
I am one fed-up hombre being denied the opportunity to watch and follow football and to enjoy a tipple or two in a local public house. My head is often hung like a despondent mule.

It is NOT the size of the wand that is important but the magic that one weaves with it.

As far as watching football on its own is concerned you could say its no different to when the season has finished.

For me the problem is though there aren't other sports to watch or keep up with, which I would do.

No cricket, tennis plus others I'm a sports fanatic.

I’m not missing palace yet, because we had a month inbetween home games anyway and I don’t do many away, the Burnley game would’ve been my next game after Watford at home anyway. Plus home games have been pretty tedious this season.

But I am missing football in general, I don’t watch many games all the way through on tv, but I do like to dip in and out of games, and I miss soccer Saturday with Jeff Stelling if I’m not at a game and the mid-week version when there’s a lot of games on.

Also, although I’m not a big spender where betting is concerned, I miss my Acca’s I do when there’s a lot of games on, it adds a bit of excitement following the games as they’re going on, especially if palace are not playing.

Gladly the cross eyed bear. That’s a younger man’s burden. After a few pints these days I need a calendar rather than a stop watch.

I wouldn't categorise myself with any such addiction but on occasions sobriety is NOT on the agenda.!

Several shots of intoxicating fluid when we win !
