Yesterday I watched the 3-3 against Swindon that was the Palace I remember from my youth throwing the game away. Nicky Chatteron had a stormer that day and Peter Taylor showed what a great player he was. The players had a lot of space and the tackles were fierce and the moustaches and perms even fiercer, the good ole days.

Part of our best-ever season, in terms of league position. 20 wins out of 38 matches. 69 points.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |
