Remember bunking off school to watch an FA cup match (must have been first round because tooting were s***e)
at Figgs marsh and having a bundle with their fans after on the green . (Well we chased them then they chased us ,all good fun really)
It was rumoured they were Chelsea fans which was probably right as it was a full house

Maybe you should ask them for a tenner , the total so far would suggest even Tooting fans cant be bothered to chip in so Ill give it a miss

I lived near the ground. When Millwall came in the FA cup there was a ton of trouble. There were people running down our alley, jumping over our fence being followed by Millwall fans chasing them with knives. We let the Tooting fans go through the house. My Dad called the Police. By the time they got to us they were all gone.
Exciting for a young teenager and my first look at soccer violence. I used to go to Tooting and Mitcham matches as a kid with my Dad.
