There are a lot of pundits around these days, who do you think are the best and worst?

For me some of the best are Neville, Carragher Alex Scott and Kammy

some of the worst are Chris Sutton, Robbie Savage and Mourinho, (although it was breif)

I concur with this viewpoint but would add Graeme Souness, Roy Keane and Jamie Redknapp to the list.

I like Keane for his refusal to accept that everything he sees is brilliant and making a point of mentioning it, also Alan Green whose miserableness is such a contrast to the normal cheerleading. Rodney Marsh was also honest about players and often saw the lighter side of things.
Andy Townsend was a pain and Garth Crooks is the poster boy for rampant bellendery.

Especially Jenas who looks like a 12 year on his way to a birthday party.

'Tony Butler' on Birmingham radio station BRMB used to cut-off supporters on his phone-in program if he thought they were spouting hogwash, with a somewhat abrupt "On yer bike" !

If you think todays pundits are bad...I'll never forget Jimmy Hill defending the referee for this.

I was there behind that goal that day. Everyone in the ground knew it was a goal except the ref and his two lino's, but Coventry City director Hill said something along the lines that the referee is always right. Cobblers.

Clive Allen was more of a tap in striker I don't remember him scoring many like that. Did he take many free kicks?

I think I am right in thinking that during the 1990 cup final ( may have been the replay), Geoff Thomas was fouled in the box and a large divot showed where the foul occurred, however Gunn gave free kick outside box, Hill supported the decision by saying “he was going away from the goal” unbelievable

there are some good pundits there such as Jenas, however I do feel that Shearer and Wrighty have better analysis when they are doing live games rather than on MOTD
