Rest assured, I am not a reed bending to the storm wind and I have never been short of intestinal fortitude.

Apropos "Respect" and "Support", I really do not believe that I am showing any lack of respect when, I,like most others, have predicted a win for Liverpool.

If you had read my posts you would have perused that I initially predicted a 2-0 victory for the hosts and whilst a 5-0 drubbing did enter my mind this morning I believe this is unlikely.

In terms of support, as I have mentioned earlier I have supported our team through peaks and troughs since the 60s and will continue to do so rain or shine.

Other people are probably predicting on their knowledge or feeling for the game , you however always predict doom and gloom
Whatever the game or form , and reply as always as you posted about two posts up
'How delighted you are to be proved wrong ' It is boring and tiresome.

It is not supportive or brave to expect the worse all the time.

With the utmost respect, expecting a worst case scenario does not equate to a dearth of support or fortitude.

In the final analysis, I provide my honest assessment and of course I do not expect pandemic approval each and every time.

Of course, I have been delighted to have been proved wrong.
One cannot always be a perspicacious chappie all of the time!

Thanks! So many people have short memories. It would be the height of irony if Tekkers scores the winning goa! for us.

Last team to win at Anfield in the League 55 games ago.

Next team to win at Anfield !

Hope so as we've be a thorn in Liverpools side since the 9-0,then the Glorious 4-3 at Villa Park.

Good Luck Lads.

2-1 to Palace.

Some commentators, including Lawro, are of the opinion that Liverpool only have to turn up to beat us and that we will NOT score.
I say, underestimate Palace at your peril.
Good luck to Roy and the lads.

I'm certain we won't get thumped, we're too solid for that.

It should be a momentous time for Liverpool, but the reality of winning their first title in 30 years in an empty stadium, also having been knocked out of Europe has left them deflated. They've lost their edge.

Palace on the other hand off the back of 4 wins and 4 clean sheets and an unlikely sniff at European football season are flying and have it all to play for.

I'm a blind optimist, Liverpool 0-1 Palace. Benteke to score.

Great game, 3-3. Ayew, Wilf, Tekkers.

And a big banner saying Bindippers Lives Matter.

Indeed. I'm really looking forward to the noise our travelling fans are going to make.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
