Funny I could have sworn Wilf's goal against Chelsea was hit from about 30 yards out. Who can ever forget Andros's goal against Man City.

it's rare that players do it and the odd times they do they end up being awful.

just look back at Wilf history how many of them has he done you can count them on one hand and this is suppose to be a world class player the guy even misses a lot of chances close up the other week he missed a sitter plus messed up with 1 on 1 with keeper

Apropos shooting from distance, QPR manager Mark Warburton doesn't like his players shooting from 30 yards, the maximum he allows is around 22 yards.

Just watched the first half an hour of the Sheff Utd-Chelsea game. Wilder is giving an absolute masterclass of how a team with a small budget should be playing. Chalk and cheese how we played against Chelsea last week.
Is it too much to ask the players to move more, especially when transitioning from defence to attack? Our players look so static when I watch us. How I'd love us to have an Enda Stevens left wing back to get forward and give crosses to Benteke.
I love Roy but we need to think very carefully who our next manager is. We need someone young, hungry and with progressive thinking like Wilder.
We are all realistic and don't expect to win a lot of games, but all I read is we want to see some attacking and to give it a go. Wilder seems to have this balance with his team, why can't we?

What did they say then, otherwise your comment was kinda redundant... with the greatest of respects.

This was once a quality forum....

The person, who is not connected with our club, shared my concerns about our prospects next season.

Thought the Chelsea side we played last week was probably the weakest line up they have fielded against us since we were promoted. Lots of emerging talent but they aren't quite their yet.

That team had us dead and burried after 27 minutes, but were thrashed by Sheffield United yesterday.

A lot of people have been saying the league is getting stronger. I'd disagree. Liverpool, Leicester, and Spurs are better than they were. Man City are about the same. Man U, Chelsea, and Arsenal are a shadow of their former selves. The rest of league aren't much to write home about.

I understand the reason for your comment based on my last riposte concerning a conversation I had with a gentleman relating to our prospects next season!

Apropos my dear wife, she requested a coat of animal fur so I have bought her a 'Donkey jacket'.

I haven't thought too much about Roy going so haven't paid too much attention to his thread. However, if we lose today that will be 5 successive defeats with Man U and Spurs to come at home and Wolves away. These are all potentially games that we could get something, even if it is only a draw. If we lose 8 games in a row I feel that should be the end for Roy. We and Roy need some results between now and the end of the season

Hodgson has now secured our survival in the PL for three seasons with a very limited transfer spend. He has been offered and has accepted an extension to his contract, accordingly I am in a state of bewilderment as to why there is even any debate about him not being at the helm next season.

2-0 Villa. Still bewildered?

Time for a change.
To be fair to Roy he's hardly been supported in the transfer windows but i feel we need a change.
