There hasn't been much to shout about recently but I thought Mitchell played very well today and looks like he could be a good player.

Understandably he was given a tough time by Traore last week but that's like trying to mark a rhino. He was much better today, particularly going forward, and whipped a couple of dangerous balls in. He looks very athletic and I think once he gains further experience and learns to read the game better he could be a great addition to the squad.

As someone who has never been fully sold on PVA, I welcome the competition. Anybody agree / disagree?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Let's hope he can continue to develop. He may even start next season, considering PVA's injury. If he can do a job against Spurs, there's reason to think he can be a decent squad player, perhaps even improve a lot.

Not too impressed with his first game but I have to say he did well today and Schlupp did everything he could to support him which was great to see.

He can only get better. He’s had a tough start to his senior career.

Thought he was good today, got caught out a few times but whipped some good crosses in and got in the right positions when attacking. He is unfortunate that he is being compared to wan-bissaka because AWB was sensational when he came through and played spurs. Think Tyrick still is a way to go but looked solid. Not sure hodgson will give him the nod over PVA, but part of me wishes he would. Hopefully Tyrick can push to become a better defensive prospect that pVA with time

Traore would provide a baptism of fire for any new player and there are certainly easier teams than Spurs to face in your second full game.
He'll learn not to get too tight on the person he's marking. He looked good going forward and his crosses were pinged over. A promising prospect BUT still early days.

He’ll be good back up provided he has Schlupp on the left in front of him who knows how to play the left back role and can talk him through the match. Promising for the future though and probably about a year or so away from being a regular first choice pick IMO.

Top game lad. Well done.

Thought he did alright against Wolves. Good going forward as well. Let’s hope Nathan offers the same on the right.

Not too good, too soon. Let's hope he gives us a a few good years before one of the big boys snaps him up for megadosh!

It's just so great to see a young player finally getting a chance. Let's hope there's many more to follow.

Much better second half today. Looks like he could do with a year on loan in the Championship to toughen him up and gain experience. Not as oven ready as AWB but good to see youth getting a chance.
