The heading 'Transfer Talk' on HOL needs to be changed 'Fantasy world' or 'Never Land'.
Over the years reams of sensible players mentioned debated & discussed along with lots of others!
Yet here we are again with only 1 safely tucked under our belts for the next campaign.
During the lockdown, our potential targets surely must have been honed down via Zoom to a very short hit list.
Unless we have to sell first before we buy, well if that's the case what are we waiting for?
Is it only Wilf that can go or are others available?
Or is it just that the market needs the promoted clubs to get their cheque books out and start spending in the championship to ease the congestion?

As I've suggested elsewhere, it may simply be that:
1.No-one knows what the right values for players are post-COVID 19
2. Clubs are unsure what their finances will look like given the lack of matchday income.

We are being told by the media that so many clubs have to sell before they can buy. How true that is, I don't know. I don't believe we're in that category, though, but I suspect we don't have much in the transfer pot.

We all guess on this , but for sure Covid , and no gates , has to have a big effect . More though on Championship, and lower .as well as many foreign leagues. Most of them have a financial hard time coming, they can’t doubt it. So are these clubs just waiting for the best offer by the last week leaving everyone with a sudden rush late market. ?In the mean time Premier clubs moving people , are shy of underselling in case the market doesn’t slacken to much.?

Suspect we might have a thimble.
