Adil Ray explained it's a cultural thing within his Muslim demographic and the family includes friends and neighbours. Also the medical advice was mostly in English which huge numbers of the BAME community apparently do not understand. Eid celebrations are important and crowds are to be expected etc etc Make of it what you will
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Culturally Muslim's often live 3 generations or so in the same house. Take into account generally larger amounts of children, and you can easily get 10 plus in a 3/4 bedroom house. There is also the fact that so many marry cousins. Poor immune systems due to genetic defects will also play a significant part.

As a Visa Officer in pakistan it was very unusual to see marriage visa applicants not having married a cousin, albeit in some cases reluctantly

After the mass gathering presumably many then go out and about, possibly spreading Covid. Why should they be treated differently? Surely discrimination is it not?
