Making attacking subs when we are winning, yet never making them when we are chasing the game seems a bit bizarre.

It took him 6 defeats in a row to try different tactics. Not many clubs would have shown this level of patience with a manager. He's got until the end of the season, lets hope he gives it one last push to get us in a decent position for someone new to take over. The whole club seemed a bit lackluster last season.

You need the players to make the subs and having those players at your disposal can also shape the tactics you adopt with your starting eleven.
I have to admit I was concerned about the start of this season given the poor ending to the last one but have genuinely enjoyed the last three seasons Roy has been in charge. After inheriting a car crash from De Boer and squad Allardyce clearly didn't think was good enough we've been comfortable and regularly beaten some of the big six with minimal spend. Nice if one or two more of those wins came at home but couldn't really give a monkeys as long as we win. Also nice to have a manager with a shred of integrity.
Roy might be seventy two but he's clearly bright and articulate and able to command the respect of both seasoned and improving young players.
Don't see what the fuss is about.

I’ve only said Roy should go if we have a good new manager agreed coming in.

It’s a bit funny reading people getting carried away after 2 results when in reality we’ve got on the right side of Roy’s margins for now with barely any possession, taken our few chances, been gifted a penalty, to be taken twice. Roy is what he is. It goes alright with a bit of luck and then matches are hopeless after 20 mins. It just doesn’t get me interested much anymore. In time it will change. If anyone enjoys this apart from the goals then I don’t see how. But if he keeps us here for something better then fine. It’s when he inevitably doesn’t change during hopeless runs of losses people get frustrated.
