Brilliant win but can we say that our team improved when we brought on Eze for Sclupp and Bats for Jordan ? To me the substitutes had nowhere near the work rate. Ok we won but I cannot see them being picked as starters unless Scluppy and Jordan have a big drop in form. ?

Just be happy that we have some quality on the bench to make a change.

Eze is going to be quality..Bats is quality.

Enjoy the win

Eze oozed class when he came on; some lovely movement and passing. he was also there to pick up the ball from the defence and mover it forward. He'll have Schlupp's place before long (once he's fully match fit). Bat's wasn't on long enough to judge; we were still looking to break forward right to the end and you need your front men in positions to nake teh runs etc. I agree that both Schlupp and Ayew worked their socks off.

I think Ayew has been appalling so far this season. Holds on to the ball for far too long and refuses to play an early pass. Only thing going for him so far is his brilliant work rate. Bats for me has looked equally as bad but has had far fewer minutes than Ayew. I thought Bats was dire against Bournemouth but then so was all the attacking players. Eze looks excellent but I can't see how you can drop Townsend or Schlupp at the moment. I'd drop Ayew for Eze though.
