Don’t shoot messenger... Mate in Huddersfield who is a huge Terriers fan is convinced Karlan Grant has been approached by us. He has a few contacts with the Yorkshire club. He reckons West Brom were in the driving seat but are dithering with how to structure payments. Grant’s heart was set on West Brom, but being from south London would be interested in ‘going home’ as my mate said. Personally, I think this is quite a ‘believable’ story but I can only see us going in for him if we step back from Rhian Brewster transfer. laddo "People say, live fast, die young. Thought he’s looked a real handful when I’ve seen him play on TV , strong and direct. Shouldn’t think the fee would be too much either. Would be a decent CB replacement at much reduced wages and would be handy to keep that type of striker as an alternative to two less physical types in certain games.

No idea if this is true but we need a good backup striker assuming that Wickham and possibly Benteke are not part of our long term plans. My Charlton mates really rate him. One more point
