With the number of addresses involved, controlled explosions I will be very surprised if this is not terror related. Not the actual shooting but the activities leading up to the arrest.

The reason most crime related to firearms is in towns like Liverpool is because of easier access to the sea. Most wronguns in London stick to blades because its easier then driving to the seaside to pick a gun up whereas Liverpool is on the sea.
