Was rumoured that Man City were readying a Ł20m plus bid for him in the summer as Pep is apparently a big fan of his.
Would obviously be great for us but think he'd be looking to move to a club higher up the table than us.

I shall be having a chinwag with someone who will provide me finite details about the playing prowess of Winks.

At this juncture all I can assert is that he is in his early 20s and has played over 150 games for Tottenham in all competitions and of course he has played for England so he certainly has some quality.

Firstly, we could not afford him, secondly, he would not come here.

But most importantly, what exactly does he do ? I think most Spurs supporters ask the same question. Not a defensive midfielder, not creative, and not a forward running goalscorer from midfield.

Probably hence why Mourinho is not playing him.
