See he was at Man City before Reading which. Is probably where PV spotted him. £8M looks a snip and he’s only 19.

He has been on our radar, before PV arrived, but I am sure he approved of the signing.

I think it’s wishful thinking regarding this being a PV signing. The club have been watching him for over 12 months and we’re interested in him last Jan. Hes not a PV signing…he’s a DF signing. I’m certain PV had to give his blessing of course, but he hasn’t put this deal together like some are suggesting.

So while Dougie got the deal in place, I'm sure PV helped, or even sealed the deal (and stopped another teams swooping in --it sounds like there was many teams interested, and why not at 8M)
