Doubt he had much choice. Something has gone wrong at Celtic and the media have been suggesting his time was up. According to Wiki his win percentage at Celtic was 70% whereas when he was at Bolton when it was under 23%.

The English Championship is a better league than Scottish Football...

- more entertaining
- more big clubs
- players who have still got career ambition
- more unpredictable results
- not dominated by just a couple of big fish
- not poisoned by sectarian bollix


and as for the Premier League, probably the best domestic league in the World.
