The beeb just showed him scoring a 40-yard wonder goal on loan at Southend...I didn't even KNOW he was on loan there. I thought he was still in rehab mode... Any insights?

The irony of the BBC confusing one black payer for another would be rich indeed (perhaps we could have a BBC Offensive Mistake History Month), but in fairness at least these two fellas have the same name if not, unfortunately for us, the same physical robustness. Does remind me of the story, which has persisted in some quarters, that back in the day AC Milan bought Luther Blissett by mistake when intending to purchase John Barnes. The notion being that they went to a Watford game having heard good things about Barnes, saw a totally different black fella, shrugged and said 'Well, that must be our man then!' Happily for the causes of human social furtherance and racial harmony, but perhaps sadly for those who really like it when big organisations make expensive f*** ups, the tale is apparently very much untrue.
