Hypothetically :

The weaker teams in Europe's competitions.

how would such teams fare ?

Prem Relegation teams :

- expensive players
- often recently climbed out of the championship
- get pressure-tested, in England, every week

Early Europa League, or early rounds of Champions League

- cheaper players
- often playing against donkey teams, at home, every week

- good confidence from lots of wins

Can we guess ? The average of relegation candidates against the average flotsam & jetsam of Europe's prestige competitions.....

Steaua Bucharest

Dynamo Zagreb

Fenebache

AEK Athens

Glasgow Celtic

Dundalk

Copenhagen

Forget about Sheffield Or West Brom, this question is asking you to generalise for all years of the Premier League. The bottom 2 or 3 clubs.

And a separate question :
Imagine an international European competition for every country's Relegation candidates ? Surely England would win this every year ?

West Brom vs Valladolid ?

Discuss , a football question for Football talk.

All I would say is it’s about time we all got a crack at playing Rangers and Celtic and find out just how well they do fare against PL opposition.

The Scottish Giants avoid Prem minnows.

David Haye cancelled a couple of fights against Tyson Fury.
