Cliff Simon,who played the Goa'uld Lord Ba'al in Stargate SG-1 has died in a kiteboarding accident aged 58. He was very convincing as a sinister alien in what was my wife and I's favorite sci-fi show.

Stargate was fun in its day. I watched the first episode the other day for the first time in years.
