Folajimi Olobunmi-Adewole, known as Jimi, was the 20 year old man who on early Saturday morning, just after midnight, while coming home from work, heard a ladys cries coming from the river thames, she had fallen off London bridge. Jimi jumped in to save her, she ended up being saved by the lifeboat/rescue, Jimi drowned, his body was recovered at 6am. R.I.P Jimi, what a brave, brave young man.

Fell off London Bridge? Yeah I’ve almost fallen off it many times walking along the pavement.

I read about this incident yesterday. Poor lad was clearly very brave to try and save the young lady who fell into the Thames. Extremely sad.

Mind you, I can see what Rudi is alluding to. You have to be doing something out of the ordinary to fall off London Bridge. If that was the case it makes the boy's efforts and subsequent death even more tragic.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
