also glad Paris didnt win it. Their sense of entitlement and arrogance is also fairly ugly. An undisciplined rabble of superstar overpaid brats. Personal opinion , anybody at all except those tw@ts in West London. Even Bayern Munich or Ajax .... but alas, we must wait and see if the trophy goes North or South of Watford.

Hopefully that means the final coming to Wembley. The idea that thousands of unvaccinated fans will go to Turkey a high Risk COVID country and bring back god knows what is not a good idea. The government should tell UEFA that travel is still banned so either it's an empty stadium or move it to the UK.

...but not much to do with a virus that's killing 1% of all the nonagenarians. We saw the European Cup go to Greece, the Prem go to Blackburn & Leicester. imagine if the Champions League went to somebody small like Staeua Bucharest or Lech Poznan ? now, that would be a breath of fresh air.

UEFA have already stipulated the the final WILL be played in Istanbul as originally planned. They dismissed calls from fan groups to stage the final in Emgland(Wembley).
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The final either needs to be played in England or it should be without fans. Sending 8000 fans from England to Turkey when they are still in a lockdown would be madness.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Just play it at Wembley regardless of UEFA. This is something the government can intervene in. I suspect the UEFA officials know they can get away without self isolating in Istanbul but not in England.

It's actually even more boring that it's two Premier Division sides. They'll know each other inside out and will have already played each other at least twice. No real surprises. The surprise for me is how poorly disciplined PSG and Real are. Don't give either Poch or Zidane much longer. Not good enough for us though.

I didn't realise UEFA ran the COVID travel policies for the UK and other European countries? Surely either government could put a stop to this? Under current rules Both sets of players will need to self isolate for 10 days which will affect the Euro training camp meet ups, plus fans can not travel as its non essential? You cannot say that all the players that look English are foreign. Nor that all the players that look Foreign are English. That is a shocking opinion you are holding there !
