It amazes me how many times a season someone picks up an injury that'll see them out for 'a few weeks' and you don't hear of them for 6 months. Tomkins, Sakho, Ferguson, McArthur, Wickham x9....

Apparently the injury seemed straightforward initially but hasn't healed as would usually be expected; the problem is thought to be that it was akready scar tissue that was torn.

is it just his calf? Has had an ongoing back issue that he has been managing for a few years now (part of the reason he stopped playing for Scotland). I was wondering if this has flared up again as back problems are always complex and take time.
