My bro met him at a golf course last week, said he would be fit to play against Liverpool but is going to give it a miss then have a good pre season and be ready for the new season in August
|

So there's a clue. Isn't his contract up. Despite age would be happy to hold on to him. Been great for the club. Kind of wonder whether his absence has exposed Luka.

He's been a real loss. Rarely puts in a 9/10 performance but he guarantees a 7/10 which means our midfield doesn't look as lost as it has at times in recent months.

One of our real unsung heroes in my opinion. Maybe not the most skilful but when he plays he always puts in a shift and plays with passion. Will be very hard to replace. Feel the same way about Martin Kelly and frankly astounded he hasn't been selected to play this season.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

100%. Can't remember us ever missing a player as much as we've missed him in recent weeks. Makes both/either Luka and Jairo play better as a result of his presence.
