There is a seemingly bottomless pot of money available to the top PL clubs. Abramovich is giving Touchel £150m to spend on refreshing Chelsea's team. Pep is looking to spend over £50m on Mendes and has a wanted list of four strikers including Harry Kane and Erling Haaland. How much will they cost if he's able to pull it off? We were recently rumoured to have a colossal fund of £50m available. Less than the amount Pep plans to spend on just one player. With all this cash sloshing about it makes our achievement of staying up with the big boys on a limited budget all the more remarkable. Whoever does replace Roy next season will need to be very savvy in the market as well as a smart tactician.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Don't forget that FFP doesn't apply to the top teams - seemingly
