You just never know when they will beat the best team in the land or lose to the worst. Every year there is usually an exciting relegation battle (not this year!). Guessing the next manager and how long he will last (Does Roy hold some sort of record in recent years?) is always fun. We've never won anything major in the big time and still we love the club cos' one day.....

Have always meant to ask you mate, who are the birds on your picture gallery’s?

For me, one of the great things about Palace is that our fans are generally, eternal optimists. It was terrific to hear the noise that 6500 singing fans made on Wednesday and it got louder when we went behind.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

In answer, I think roy Hodgson is the only manager in our history who hasn't left or been sacked before the end of their contract.
