Yes, definitely US latinos love soccer, but mostly to root for their home countries. Like when Mexico plays the US, all the Mexican-Americans are rooting for Mexico. They follow MLS to a degree.

Too true as it's the same in the UK. Many years ago I worked in a factory in South Wales and everyone who worked there had two things in common. firstly the hated the English and secondly they all supported Liverpool despite only being ten miles from Cardiff
