Any ideas that England would do well in this tournament are a joke.

When England actually attack, they can look useful but so much w@nking about in midfield.

As for the Jocks, well let them have their bit of fun God knows they don't get a lot.

BTW is the newly blonde Foden wearing eye make up?

55 minutes in and more passes going back than forward.

Not an exciting game. England need some changes. Ah, Wilshire's warming up. Maybe something will come of this.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I heard someone say Scotland are the third lowest ranked team at the Euros.

What I watched was very very poor from an England team that some were suggesting could win this. I've seen some good teams at this tournament and it's a shame but England haven't been one of them. There might be great individual players in there but they have looked very average in an England shirt.

Watching England reminds me of self conscious teenagers at a disco second guessing their every move.

Slow, no quick movement or passing.

Roy Hodgson was sacked and ripped to pieces by the media for a display that was no worse than that. Worse thing is Southgate may well be available in around a weeks time. He’s clueless. Kane obviously isn’t fit and how on earth Sterling never got subbed whilst contributing sweet FA?

Well after this "showpiece" I think I can congratulate Scotland, and put some perspective for my home country :
England I believe can beat anyone in this tournament except for Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and possibly Sweden.

I should advise that I tend to be over optimistic in my hopes for my home country.

Is there any player in the team capable of smashing one in from 30 yards, or do they actually want to walk it in over the line every time?

Wait, Roy was sacked as England manager??? I have to admit I’ve had a few years away but I’d have sworn he was managing that.

No team with a spine including Mings, Stones, Rice, Phillips with Henderson as an option is winning anything.

Rice in particular is massively overrated. Lampard apparently desperate to sign him for Chelsea despite having the likes of Kante at his disposal so glad we aren't going down that path.

Respect the point. England are in the next round. Scotland are probably out without a win.

They clearly targeted that game, their whole tournament was centred around getting a result against England.

Czech Republic game will probably play out for a draw, both sides go through. England will avoid Germany/France/Portugal.

We could have turned it up and got 3 points, but a level headed manager knows a point will do.

Two holding mids probably weren't required but will be against better opposition.

As for comparison with that laughing stock Woy. We won one game in a major tournament with him against Wales, in a fluke. Out in the first round of the WC, beaten by Iceland. There's no defending that joke of a human.
