I cannot understand how all professional footballers are not completely two footed, that's all they do , George Best wasn't known partially for his training, was right footed but made himself so good with his left foot you couldn't tell, why cant everybody do it

One hears talk of "Wand of a left foot" but never "Wand of a right foot".

The Short answer is; Because they don't need to be. Just because you're a footballer does not make you predisposed to be the best you can be.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

This is why Pavel Nedved should be considered a world class great I think the only footballer who I’ve seen dramatically improve his weaker foot to a level near his preferred foot. Alongside Zidane and even Milner is pretty good. Perisic too. Amazing improvements I even forced myself to do the same To reach 100 kick ups with just my weak foot I was super happy!! Haha and score a penalty with it too my team mates were baffled when I lined up on the wrong side! But I’m confused that some players are so so poor on one side it’s embarrassing surely in training too they must get ripped and laughed at And I’m sure I remember John Salako taking corners with each foot before his terrible injuries..??

Kenny Sansom was the best left back to ever to play the game imho, but his right foot was definitely only for standing on, Geoff Thomas is the best midfielder I’ve ever seen in a palace shirt, but again, his right foot was shocking. But I wouldn’t have changed either of them!! Surely it’s something you're born with, there’s not a lot you can do about it, maybe with a bit of practise a professional could improve his weaker foot. But that’s why we have positions, left back, right back, left wing, right wing etc. Personally I’m right handed, but left footed, which I’ve always wondered why?

Blimey, I like Thomas but I have to have some sympathy for you there.
