Rumours that we have signed yet another Chelsea youngster. Another centre back! but he is only 19. According to the BBS, we are just awaiting confirmation. Exciting times.

From what I read on Chelsea forums when looking for background on Guehi it seems Simeu didn't sign a new deal as he didn't expect to get much first-team football at Chelsea. If that is the case then you would imagine he is at least going to be in and around the first-team squad if he is indeed joining us?

If that makes him available, I'm not sure.

Shame But perhaps if we get another CB we need someone who is slightly more PL hardened - given Tomkins injury record. My contacts from Chelsea thought he was a little way off yet and definitely behind Guehi and potentially pairing them may have been a step too far this season. Originally posted by rossboss29

You're right about our need, which is why I'm hoping we get Kabak who at least has had some PL experience and knows what to expect.
