I noticed that Parish campaigned pretty strongly for Brexit.

Here is the result: A Palace T-Shirt priced GBP 30 plus postage 12 is now added GBP 24 in customs clearance into Scandinavia, ie a total og GBP 66.

In case a wrong size has been shipped - happened to me last time I ordered and every third time looking back through my order history - it as an additional GBP 12 in return postage plus GBP 24 in new clearance, a total or GBP 102 - for a GBP 30 shirt.

Same story all over Europe.

Needless to say, I have ordered my last materials from the Club Shop and most Europeans will probably do the same.

Why this attack on club revenue by our chairmann?

Whist Parish was in favour of Brexit, I wouldn't say he campaigned at all 'strongly' for it. In fact although he gave his opinion when asked once or twice, I wouldn't say he particularly 'campaigned' at all.

The Brexit referendum had a majority of more than a million votes in favour of leaving, so whatever Parish voted made little or no difference, and even if he did campaign for it as you claim, I doubt Steve Parish being pro-Brexit helped swing over a million votes into voting to leave the EU.

Brexit was the democratic choice of the country, whilst your postage issue is a shame, I doubt that losing some overseas merch orders wasn't at the forefront of Parish's mind when choosing whether to choose remain or leave.

I wouldn't dare speculate on how much duty there is on a Palace mug

You are not doing it correctly you should not be paying anything extra for clearance when returning.(I suggest you look over your countries import/export rules for consumers)

How are you getting shirts for £30 standard retail price is £50-55 from Palace.

Stop ordering the wrong size it's very simple to do some measurements before ordering.

This is noting to do with Brexit Palace on this side of things has always been run poorly.

I suggest just buying from other parties you pay a lot less anyway and the quality is the same if not at times better.

Presumably shirts of all clubs are subject to the same taxes, so not a Parish supporting Brexit issue. Campaign for a referendum, you know it makes sense

Firstly I don’t think he was returning, he had ordered it to be sent.

Secondly don’t be so patronising about sizing. Unless you are in the club shop it is not possible to guess the right size. My son is a medium but needed a large this year, only knew by trying it on..

Thirdly why is this Palace’s fault?

I would suggest you ask why you are having to pay so much to import a shirt from the UK, could it be something to due with the EU being determined to punish the UK for having the temerity to get out of the 'club'.

I am old enough to remember that it wasn't so difficult to deal with the Common Market before we joined so why should it be so difficult now we have left.

Anyone would think that our products are of such low quality that they want to keep them out of the EU.

Ever thought about where they are made? My shirt has made in Turkey printed on the label, the last I noticed Turkey were not in the EU.

He stated he had to return due to selecting the wrong size.

So you can't measure either the sizing is very clear.

Agree not really Palace fault but they could be doing more to offer availability to different markets so having distribution in EU the same with say one in Asia and US rather then shipping all from UK.

Don't waste your money on any Palace 'merchandise' if you need it shipping outside of the UK.

Get your fellow Swedes to vote Swexit, then you won't be charged cost price plus a 30% EU backhander for a sub standard shirt imported from the slave markets in Bangladesh..

Yeah and give up your freedom of movement to live, work and study in any of the 27 countries that are EU member states for some crappy football shirts lol. Where do you think the shirts 'from' the UK are made? Lolol.
