I think this is the worst I have seen us play since the De Boer days. We look absolutely shell shocked in possession. We frantically clear to nobody, and do not compete at all for second balls. We are so terrible that we even manage to tackle ourselves at time. Why do we try time and time again to play this way, when time and time again it hasn’t worked. Get Viera out - he is an Arteta impersonator.

What's with the long balls? We have no ideas and no options so just end up hoofing it and giving back possession.

Penalties and punishment are Vieira preferred management tools, as if fear makes any player better or more confident. Together with dubious selections this spells disaster, and it is hardly a coincidence that our play is significantly worse than under de Boer. Could easily go 10 or more games without scoring - at least beeting our own world record of 7. Big Sam available?

Our only good-looking break opportunity was thwarted because Coufal went down from Wilf's elbow. Even on replay I wasn't sure if it was legit, but the caravan moves on...

Ah Coufal got away with a warning for a foul on Zaha so a bit later on Zaha got away with a clash of elbow and face on Coufal. Thanks - what surprises me about that is that Wilf got away with it.

Right now I'm most concerned with our lack of attacking threat and intent. 1 shot at goal but no shots on target in the first half, West Ham had 8 shots at goal and 1 on target. Passing and possession we've shaded it, but clearly we're not doing anything with the ball when we have it. If we can’t score can’t win!

Doesn't help when Wilf is too busy moaning and crying also whenever he gets the ball he slows everything up and takes ages by that point it's too late. West Ham are a good team but we are really showing our manager is out of his depth with this job he should of been an assistant to someone else. I would rather put up with the dull Roy ball then this.

We are getting exposed badly down our left flank. Is there any serious possibility of Ferguson actually starting a game for us in the future or have we bought another Wickham. Has MacArthur touched the ball, he looks 2 yards too slow for this division.

Someone said the day with game against Watford, they looked like players who weren't interested in playing for the manager. This old school discipline (if true) simply doesnt work anymore, players have all the power. Vieira will go long before the players do.
