There is a wonderful pub quiz type question about the Valley, that goes something like this...Who has playing in front of the largest crowd at the Valley when Curbishley was the manager?

Answer: The Who, Bill Curbishley was the manager...!

I went to an away game at Norwich many years ago, probably late 80's, and a woman behind the bar in a local pub referred to us as Crippled Alice. I'd never heard that before or since.
