Irish surname Gall ....foreign or outsider Cabhair.....help Gallagher.....Imported or Loaned Helper.
The Gallagher surname hails from Donegal 'Dun na nGall' ....'the fort of the foreigners' ..... which may be a good metaphor for Selhurst (or most Prem stadia). Donegal has Golden Eagles to this day. Edited by PalazioVecchio (03 Oct 2021 10.28am)
