Surprised there hasn't been a thread for him, the clue to his outrageous ability imho is his eagerness to have the ball, there is an innate confidence like he's saying "just give me the ball, I know what to do". The first time I saw Gascoigne play he had that same eagerness. Didn't see his full debut but the feeling seemed to be he was better receiving the ball at pace when he was running forward than he was when we were keeping possession in front of the oppo defence, but everything he does is magic as the song goes, his pass to Wilf just b4 his assist to Gallagher at Citeh were superb. £8 Mil seems an absolute bargain, can't wait to see him and Eze in the same team, along with Wilf and Connor of course, even Calvin Andrew would be prolific with those lot behind him.
