Fourth is as likely as winning the next 7 games thread which fell at the first hurdle. I'll join those who are happy that we're being entertained by our team this season. I an hopeful that we cam finish higher than last season.

To be entertained and win a few would be nice. As above, it's just nice to be positive about football again. Losing players to the ACN in January will make it a tough month but I would hope that we can get a top 10 finish. Anything above 14th will be seen as progress.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Anywhere above 17th will be a very successful season given our turnover in personnel (that and progress on stadium improvements). Predicting a top 10 finish is just setting things up for lots of moaning and complaining later in the season(which is what many on here seem to enjoy the most!).

I would be over the moon with a top 10 finish. We have a new, unproven, manager, a lot of new players to integrate and a new style of play. Top 10 would, under the circumstances, be amazing.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Absolutely ridiculous to suggest we could finish fourth. If we get a run of injuries, which we will at some stage, our results will suffer. Also at some point we are bound to have a bad run, every team does. Man. Utd and Tottenham are bound to improve and West Ham and Arsenal will almost certainly finish above us so in my opinion 8th is the best we can hope for.

How on earth you think we will be in the top 6 is optimistic or just ridiculous. Doubt we will end in the top half, its a long season.

After today's performance against Villa, relegation is still a possibility. If Burnley wins, we're 4 points ahead of the drop. We currently have 16 points from 13 matches, with Leeds, ManU and Everton coming up.
