Are we due a windfall this season due to the number of televised matches?

I haven't properly researched this but we do seem to be on air every week right now and part of the Sky money is apportioned according to the number of times you are on air. Not all of these are Sky matches of course which may make a difference but by my reckoning we will have been televised for 8 successive matches post the Liverpool game.

There was quite a difference in "facility payments" last season with West Ham getting 30 mill to our 15 mill last time out.

It appears not.

But just spotted we are on the box away against Norwich which will make 9 on the trot (inc the FA Cup) and that will be our 13th televised match so far. Not quite sure on re-reading whether the facility fee only applies to Sky - perhaps not - and if it doesn't we are quids in with a very significant bonus payment coming our way.

By way of comparison West Ham will have only been on air 8 times in the same period. Seems we are the new TV darlings. And I can only think that Chelsea City (home) and Newcastle away in Feb March will be on too.

I would very much doubt that will be on TV

I wouldn't right it off just yet . There seem to be a lot of games covered in the 3rd round across different channels as well as others on the red button .

The bonus if not will probably mean a Saturday afternoon game
