Not Steve Ketteridge then? How about Steve Galliers? Or my least favourite - Glen Pennyfather - how SC thought he could replace Andy Gray is beyond me

Really? Kouyate has made 30 appearances this year. Ayew 33. McArthur 22. Who's wrong here pal? It ain't me. But hey, your man crush looked good today. I'll give you that. I think Ayew may have activated a 1 year extension so he'll be here next year. Of the 8 - i can't see Tekkers, Luka and Jairo going anywhere. All 3 have 1 year left and are on big wages. Can't see another club matching their wages. Macca and Tomkins will be interesting. Both great servants but both injury prone and neither is a regular anymore. Maybe both will want one final move

As others have mentioned, Gallagher seems to have burnt himself out and so his loss may not be as catastrophic as some fear. His future seems uncertain. At the moment it seems that there may not be a Chelsea at all next season as the government remit expires May 30th. If they continue and he goes back I don't see him fitting in with their style. If he does decide to go back and then finds he is more on the bench than on the field he may regret it. He is the opposite of Eze who is a marvellous 'maverick' now beginning to show his talent If we need to replace CG I would move heaven and earth to persuade Christian Eriksen to sign for us. If he did our scoring problem would be rapidly corrected.
I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find someone older than me. |
