Of course that means that if any of those 29 countries goes to war you will volunteer, seems only fair

Perhaps for one nation Badger!

Yeah, good choice from over the water, but as i"m already here there was no point giving the CONS 80 for 3% of the EU pass!

Really don't get this 'access to 28 countries' bull.

I've had to show my UK (EU) passport in every EU country I've visited. As far as I can tell the only difference is the door you go though to exit both showing your passport and baggage. And you have an equal chance of having your collar felt.

In Germany the queue for the EU passport windows is always longer than the single non EU and they end up opening that to EU passport holders as well. I've travelled extensively and repeatedly. There is always a queue.

In Europe I've been to:

Belgium
Germany
France
Spain
Italy (shocking organisation and security)
Portugal
Turkey (loads of fun getting in and out!)
Denmark
Sweden
Finland
Holland
Switzerland

It"s not access to go on holiday groover-it"s access to go and live there if you choose- maybe spain or Portugal if you think little britain is turning in to an old Etonian cesspit!

As the UK where never part of the Schengen agreement then whenever flying out of the UK you have to show your passport, even before Brexit.

I live in Greece and have a UK passport. When flying within the EU you don't need to show any ID. I've flown to Germany and could have left my passport at home as I was never asked to show it.
