Vieira is the first manager to publicly question the way he manages being targeted and in most of the last 10 games or so he has definitely improved in that area, which is a big positive if he does stay. Footballing wise it is hard to think of many wingers outside the top 6 who still carry such a threat on a regular basis. If teams didn't constantly foul him he'd probably have more goals and assists.

I think a big issue about moving to another PL club is that most fans outside our club find him really annoying so they would be chomping at the bit to complain before he even kicked a ball. As important as he is to us I'd really like to see him get a move to a top European side where he can get his CL football, start with a clean slate and get the glory he so clearly craves. He'd get to go out on a high after a good end to the season and we can focus on the future. Having said that I'd be more than happy if he's still with us next season, but only if that's what he really wants and not just because his agent couldn't engineer a move.

One thing's for sure, if he does go then Dougie will have his toughest challenge yet in finding a replacement as I don't believe we have that player in the squad right now.

I'd suggest nobody would pay in excess of £20mil for him, and I wouldn't sell him for anything less if at all, just my opinion of course.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I started highlighting but gave up as the whole post is very good and thoroughly agree.

Thanks. The Zaha question comes up so regularly, but I think this is my final answer. Until next time someone starts a post on it!

If Zaha was a west ham/arsenal player, never palace and they put him for sale this summer, for 30 milion - 40 million, would we be interested in him?

Damn right we would, 10 mil a year over 3 years plus wages could be seen as an astute signing to progress.

We already have him, if he is prepared to stay and lift us further, I would negotiate a a two year extension with a clause if someone came in with x amount.

Let's be honest, if his heart is in it at a club like west ham, arsenal, wolves, even Leicester, he could have a great season with them and have some fun along the way.

We are also fighting to be a club like that, mid table and late surge for a euro spot with a cup run. It makes sense for him to stay.

Arsenal seem the only logical club

lets not mention Broken Benteke.

Love Zaha, including the petulance, wide-eyed strops and general mal-a-aise. And those amazing ways he humbles whoever is marking him.

Stay

Can't see him leaving England and don't see him going to a club that's not playing European club football.

Moyes would be the stumbling block at WH.

Man U missed their chance by selling him back to us.

Don't see the top 3 being interested.

That leaves the two North London clubs with Arsenal being his favourite.

We’d be mad to let him go. 9th highest goal scorer in the PL and apart from Vardy the best outside the top six teams. ££££ Cost of replacing that?? Wilf & Conor probably MOTM more than any other Palace players. Conor’s off, do we want to lose both of them in one summer?
