Brilliant reaction.

How I'd imagine Richarlison finding a small splinter in his finger.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

When the north and south poles switch over, which it has done before in the historic past, the Earth's natural magnetic field may be temporarily distorted or vanish altogether. That is when the problems really will start and concerns over oild and gas will be irrelevant. The bubble idea may just save us.

I was discussing this 15/20 years ago. Its one of the many reasons I left the BBS as the cyberbullies were out in force for this one!

I can't claim its an original idea though as when I checked someone had patented it in the 1950's! Before Space travel had even started!

My thought process was that climate change is not caused by GHG's but by the Sun. Therefore reduce the Sun's rays to reduce temperature and increase them to increase the temperature when the next ice age hits (reflectors).

Looks like it could be happening soon, which is good news.

This is taking up too much resources but as the law stands, there is a duty of care to ensure that anybody trespassing on your property does not sustain an injury which could have been avoided. Until this law is changed we will never get rid of this problem.

Eco warriors causing chaos on the M25 today.

According to the BBC the police have deployed specially trained officers, trained in what? Handing out cups of tea and warm blankets for the poor little darlings?

As for the poor motorists "let em eat cake"

I would want anyone's right to protest protected. Absolutely.
We saw in the miners strike where there was conflict between police and striking miners at the pits. Police who were largely protecting non-striking miners right to work.
Where Climate change activists differ, is their choice of selected targets appears totally random.
You can't help but feel any message is lost on disrupting people's lives to such an extent, that you wonder how long it will be before they select a 'wrong' target and something bad happens and people get seriously hurt.

Total pain the arse the climate protestors. I actually agree with their cause but they put me off - it has a negative impact if anything.

The UK is one of the leading countries for driving climate change. If they care as much as say they do, they are wasting their time here and should be preaching to Asia/US.

The problem is that the world is too populated and it only continues to compound until action is taken. If families were limited to two children per couple the population wouldn't increase - I appreciate this would not be easy to police. Implement that globally for 50 years and reduce production/add tax to red meat & dairy and gradually phase out petrol cars in favour of electric - this will of course take longer is less developed countries.

The increased natural disasters we are seeing are a concern and we should all be mindful of our own actions and the impact it has. Two veggie meals per week is a sensible starting point.

I am with you on this - Stand somewhere where you are legitimately allowed to stand with your banner all day long any day with no problem - once you start causing criminal damage, trespassing & disrupting peoples lives the message & its point is diminished to the point of being lost.

Remember this from 2019? There are some tube stations where this would have been fine. Canning Town isn't one of them.

My mate was on the platform. A builder next to him punched a protestor to the ground after he tried to glue himself to the train. One of the "Official Observers" (no such thing they are self appointed and refuse to co-operate with the police) filmed it and screamed at the builder about human rights. The builder grabbed the phone and threw it onto the track and told the observer he would get the same treatment.

At this point my mate a Millwall fan intervened and told the builder to leg it which he did.

Personally I am all in favour of a bit of vigilante justice if this was to happen a few more times whilst the police looked the other way it would stop all this nonsense. These scum are no heroes.

There was so much industrialisation thousands of years ago the land bridges between Asia and North America and between UK and Continental Europe were covered when the glaciers melted, or maybe the weather just changed

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
