Like a few on here have pointed out, only Doucoure on the new players will probably be a regular starter and two first teamers have gone in Kouyate and Gallagher. If Eze stays fit then that could be like another new signing.
However, we have gone for longer term options, which though is good, means I can't see us being any better than last year. Ebiowei and Plange are unlikely to be much more than bench players and I would expect one at least will be loaned out.
My main concern would be that I'm still not confident in Mateta as our first choice striker.
Would currently rate the window a 6. Good signings for the future, but don't see where we have improved for now.

The only build I'd make is young players getting better with experience. Granted we are not used to that at Palace.

But last season we started with a new CB pairing, a pretty fresh LB. an old midfield, Olise with no prem experience and 2 CF's with no prem experience.

And a year's more coaching in the Vieria way.

Agree with above, for Ebiowei & Plange playing a prem game is a massive step up from a pre season friendly, unlikely they will feature apart from maybe make the bench for league cup.
Doucoure is the only starter, we desperately need another midfielder….
