I know I'll think again before burning another spider.

Reminds me of an interesting spider fact I learned a few years ago. Researchers found that spiders hear through their legs.

A spider was placed on a table and the scientist said "Walk". It did.

They then removed the spider's legs, placed it on the table and said "Walk" again.

It just sat there. Didn't move an inch. Stone deaf apparently.

I think they then burnt it.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

I was driving to cricket on Saturday when I noticed a lot of smoke ahead.
When I got closer I saw it was the grass verge on fire.
As it happens I had a pressure washer and a tank of water on my van, so stopped and put out the fire, much to the relief of the old fella who's house was not far from the flames. My good turn for the day, and I drove off feeling happy to of helped.

All was good until I got to work on Monday morning to find my office had be broken into and ransacked...reverse Karma moment!

Sorry to hear that. Hope it won't cost you too much. Milk the insurance.
