Our defence is a lot better than that and their attack isn't as good as it was last year (IMHO).

Unless we put out a stronger balanced midfield unlike the one against Arsenal they will beat us heavily. With present squad I would play Luka alongside Dacoure and drop Eze or play him alongside Zaha as the two main forwards dropping Edouard?

A heavy defeat, contentious decisions, VAR showing more bias than usual and the normal Klopp/Liverpool w##k fest.

The pitch will be dry, not to Klopps liking. We will ride out the early pressure, then go onto surprise them by winning 1-0.

It sounded pretty pathetic when he complained about the dry pitch. Was the toilet paper in the away toilets too rough? The benches too hard? I really hate him and his arrogant face and I really hope we can rediscover the old days when we at least occasionally beat Liverpool. I can't see it this Monday though. Decisions always favour Liverpool in our games and even without 'how Mane will he score against us' they still have a strong forward line. I foresee a frustrating 2-1 defeat albeit with an improved performance.

All sounds sensible TL but I would be happy with the improved performance if so.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

2-0 Liverpool

10 teams scored less than us last season and 6 teams let in less goals than us so not bad ,

I reckon a draw same start as last season Lost 1st one drew the 2nd

call me cynical, but if city win their game before Liverpool play us ,there will be a cat in hells chance of us getting anything in this game.EPL wont allow it

Hey, you are on to something here, TL. When the bin-dippers come to Selhurst, we replace all the bog roll in the away toilets with that horrible 'Izal' medicated stuff. And individual sheets too, in that box with the slot opening in the front, rather than the continuous rolls.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
