Am I the only one worried about our current transfer policy. Yes its great that we are targeting, and signing young talent. But not too many of them are going to be starters in the first team for a while. They have great potential, but surely we need to buy the odd experienced player who woukd step in and improve the first team from the start ?

Obviously I know the window is not shut yet, and we may end up doing just that.....but you don't win anything with kids 😀

I see Brentford has just signed Daasgard for £16,7m.
He’s a midfield player who excelled for Denmark when they reached the semi finals.
Potentially that could be reasonable value.
I am presuming (perhaps incorrectly) that we have held off buying another midfield player as we’re still hopeful of bringing in Gallagher.
I’m sure we will have considered other options if this doesn’t materialise, but it could all be a bit last minute which is possibly why some feel nervous.

No point being worried, if you don’t know all the facts of what is being discussed on the transfer front by the club. The owners haven’t done job in the last 10 years.

The average age of the Man Utd team in '56 was 21 when they won the league. So it is possible, although unlikely.

Many HOL members - me included - worry all the time about everything to do with CPFC. It's the mark of a true, long-suffering fan!
