I'm getting annoyed with PV team selections again this makes no sense he really is starting to look like Roy with these selections. Stop selecting Ayew and Schlupp we have other options which are better and this is Villa not a top team we are playing. Edited by grumpymort (20 Aug 2022 2.13pm)

Ward at RB always worries me these days and personally would have gone for Mateta and Ebiowei over Edouard and Ayew but hopefully they prove me wrong and we get a win. Come on Palace!

It does make you question the manager at times he is seeing people not the roles (schlupp is a good player but this is not what he is skilled at driving forward is his game) We should be beating this Villa team Wilf will play up top being same old lazy self and Ed will do all the running but I expect Wilf will get the glory so people will go on about how great he is as was the case from Liverpool game in which he was poor.

Looking a bit light down the middle o midfield. If Doucoure ventures forward - no cover. Perhaps they'll play him withdrawn and get Eze forward to create?

Bit of a strange one I have to say, not very inspiring or in alignment to the XI I’d of like to seem but adopting attitude on in PV we trust!!! COYP
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Not sure what Clyne has done to be dropped.. Thought he finished well last season and played well against Arsenal and very well against Liverpool... I'd be disappointed if I was him.
