Anyone else daft enough to be watching this yawnfest?
Iif you aren't then suffice to say we don't look very good. In fact we're our usual sh1te selves.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

I thought the criticism Southgate had been receiving was a little OTT at the time but am starting to see it now.

Over the last however many decades, we haven't lacked talent or anything else, it's just bottle, metal, cohones, spirit, whatever you want to call it.

Just yet another team of melts in my eyes. That might sound harsh or even childish but I don't think it needs further analysis or scrutiny after that. Have slightly eased on my opinion of him but Rooney, especially 2004, is the only one over the past however many years that showed any b0110cks IMHO. Can't name another. Another team of boys from what I see.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

A year or two back we had the makings of a terrific England team. I’m afraid Southgate has completely screwed that team up :-(

Unfortunately Southgate represents the definition of uninspiring. A guy who doesn’t inspire passion with fans or players and is basically is a dull, woke accountant type.

I don’t actually blame him. He is what he is. It’s that idiot Mark Bullingham CEO of FA who lacked imagination in appointing him.

I knew Bullingham in his 20’s when he was working in sailing. I think it was the Whitbread round world race. He had no interest or knowledge in football then and is obviously like Southgate a bit of a fraud. Says the right thing to impress the media and government.

If we had a different manager we might have even seen Wilf and Eze on the pitch tonight. Certainly I could see Eze in an England shirt alongside Bellingham and Grealish.
But under Hareth we’ll be lucky to make it through the first round in Qatar.
Playing Maguire out on the left tonight. Gareth has truly lost it.

Luckily I was out at work this evening (not that I would have watched it anyway). How have we sunk so low?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Not begged Guardiola to come and run the team….. even part time. Even just select our best eleven. Maguire playing out wide on the left? Even Maguire playing? Says it all.

I am utterly lost for words. This team never looks like scoring a goal. Terrible performance yet again and with such talent available to choose from it is criminal to have such an inept manager in charge.

Southgate said in his post match press conference that the performance was a step in the right direction. What a clueless clown he is.

P'raps he meant the 'right direction' to get the players back home, uninjured for the rest of the season, at the earliest possible time.

But we qualify through our group at the WC, as again a relatively easy draw, and all will be forgotten until the 1/4 finals
