The ref let Chelsea foul us every time we broke and yet only gave three bookings. If you pull a player back when they are breaking away it is a yellow card and yet Chelsea did that at lest a dozen times and got one booking - he only finally booked Kovacic when he literally held onto Olise's foot. Edouard did one little trip and immediate yellow! He basically let Chelsea foul us off the pitch and bottled it on the red card call. We matched Chelsea and that is a cruel goal to concede, but nothing we could have done to stop it. Also, 4 minutes of added time? You can f**k right off. If we were winning that would have been 5 or 6. On the plus side Eze, Olise, Ayew and Zaha all on the same pitch from the start against Chelsea shows we have the balls to try and take the game to a top team. Ayew faded, but to me he looked much better in the middle than Schlupp.

There is no escaping the fact we have given away a late goal yet again. 89th minute Chelsea scored against us last year for a win and the same here. When will we learn to see a game out. That should have been a straightforward point with that second half performance.

People will say - it's Chelsea - we were never going to get anything. I disagree and think that we are bang in trouble already. We can't score. We create little. We give the ball away easily. We fail to tackle more times than not. I think that our players think we are better than we are and we are not. We need to start getting points and I am sick of us conceding late goals. It was great strike by CG but there umpteen chances to stop it even getting ther in the first place.

I disagree and think that we are bang in trouble already.
We can't score. We create little. We give the ball away easily. We fail to tackle more times than not.
I think that our players think we are better than we are and we are not.
We need to start getting points and I am sick of us conceding late goals.
It was great strike by CG but there umpteen chances to stop it even getting ther in the first place.
