Her early Career "Gaslight" where the expression comes from she played a saucy conniving maid. She wasn't a conventional beauty so they didn't know what to do with her. I think she was a bigger star on Broadway than in the movies and then came MSW.

Have they said what cause of death was ? I know she was 96, but you can't just assume she didn't have any enemies
