Thoughts? We were interested a few years ago. A potential upgrade on what we have. Lots of running, holds the ball up well. I think he would be a very useful acquisition.

Why would West Ham sell? Who knows, but apparently he is transfer listed and they are happy to let him go. I suspect we'd only buy him if we got a 2-for-1 deal including Cleopatra, anyway, such is our approach to the window.

I actually think he'd be great for us on a short-term deal. Quick, strong and a pain in the ar$e for defenders. I certainly think he'd at least contribute more than our current strikers providing he stays fit.
